How to use World Clock

Display accurate local times for multiple cities, countries or operating regions in a polished global time board.

Before you begin

List the cities or regions your audience needs and confirm the IANA timezone for each one, such as Asia/Kolkata, Europe/London or America/New_York.

World Clock settings guide

Use these settings to create a readable clock board that matches the screen, audience and operating environment.

Profile and heading

• Profile name: An internal name used to identify this clock setup in the dashboard and editor.
• Display title: The main heading shown on the screen, for example Global Offices or International Operations.
• Subtitle: A short supporting line that explains the purpose of the board.

Cities and timezones

• City label: The friendly name viewers will see. It may be a city, branch, office or market name.
• Timezone: The official IANA timezone used to calculate local time and daylight-saving changes.
• Region label: Optional supporting text such as APAC, Head Office, United Kingdom or East Coast.
• Order controls: Move clocks up or down to place the most important locations first.

Display design

• Grid: Balanced cards for several locations and the best general-purpose layout.
• Executive: A larger lead clock with supporting locations, suitable for reception and leadership areas.
• Analog: Professional analog faces with local time and date labels.
• Time board: A compact, information-dense list for operations rooms and larger clock sets.
• Orientation: Auto follows the widget shape; Landscape and Portrait force a layout optimized for that screen direction.
• Theme and accent: Select the visual theme and brand accent while preserving readable contrast.

Time information

• 12-hour / 24-hour: Controls the numeric time format for every location in the profile.
• Show seconds: Adds live seconds. Disable it for a calmer board or lower-powered hardware.
• Show date: Displays the local calendar date for each location.
• Day period: Shows Morning, Afternoon, Evening or Night using the local time of each city.
• Timezone label: Shows the saved IANA timezone beneath each clock for unambiguous operations use.

Good to know

• SignMitra uses IANA timezones, so daylight-saving changes are applied automatically.
• Player time is aligned to the SignMitra server to reduce errors from an incorrectly configured Android device clock.
• Use large, high-contrast layouts for reception desks, operations centres and displays viewed from a distance.
• A saved profile may contain up to 12 clocks and can be reused in more than one slide or playlist.

Publishing

Save the World Clock profile, use the app from the App Center to create its full-screen slide, then add that slide to a playlist and publish it to the required screens. Changes made later in the World Clock dashboard are picked up automatically by connected players.
