Publish a Google Slides presentation on signage screens using its public embeddable link.
Overview
Publish a Google Slides presentation on signage screens using its public embeddable link.
Before you begin
Publish the Google presentation to the web and copy its embed or published presentation URL. A private edit URL cannot play.
Good to know
- Use a presentation ratio matching the target display.
- Do not use a restricted Google Workspace link.
- Test automatic slide timing in Preview.
Publishing
After saving the app, add its slide to a playlist and publish that playlist to the required screen. Use Preview to confirm the layout before sending it to a live display.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Publish the presentation
In Google Slides, choose File > Share > Publish to web and publish the deck.
Step 2: Copy the correct URL
Copy the published or embeddable presentation URL, not the normal editor URL.
Step 3: Create the app
Open Google Slides in SignMitra, add a clear name and paste the URL.
Step 4: Set playback options
Choose landscape or portrait and any available timing or restart options.
Step 5: Preview
Confirm every slide loads, advances and fits inside the preview.
Step 6: Save and publish
Save the app and publish its slide to the required screens.
