Play supported live web broadcasts on SignMitra screens with configurable audio and fallback behavior.
Before you begin
Keep the live broadcast URL ready and verify it plays on the same device and network used by the screen.
Good to know
- Preview before publishing, especially when the screen orientation changes.
- A stable connection is required for live data; previously synced playlist content remains available according to player cache rules.
- Do not close the dashboard until a save action confirms success.
Publishing
After saving the app, add its slide to a playlist and publish that playlist to the required screen. Use Preview to confirm the layout before sending it to a live display.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Create a livestream
Open the app and add a descriptive stream name.
Step 2: Paste the live URL
Use a supported public or authenticated stream URL.
Step 3: Set playback
Choose mute, autoplay, fit and any retry or fallback options.
Step 4: Test the stream
Preview video and sound and confirm the stream remains stable for several minutes.
Step 5: Choose the display fit
Use contain when the full frame is important or cover when edge cropping is acceptable.
Step 6: Save and publish
Save and publish the livestream slide to the target players.
