Overview

Playlist Quick Publish sends a prepared playlist to screens without recreating its slides or opening the complete publishing page.

Before you publish

  • Confirm that the playlist contains the intended slides in the correct order and with the correct durations.
  • Review any scheduling rules already applied to the playlist or its slides.
  • Choose whether to update existing assigned screens or add the playlist to more screens.

What SignMitra creates or updates

  • Keeps the original playlist and all of its slide order and playback settings.
  • Uses existing screen assignments when the playlist is already published.
  • Adds selected screen assignments when you choose more destinations.
  • Refreshes affected online and offline-ready players safely.
Important: Quick Publish does not bypass playlist or slide scheduling. Scheduled content still follows its configured dates, days and times.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Open the playlist menu

Go to Playlists, open the three-dot context menu for the required playlist and choose Quick Publish.

Step 2: Review where it already plays

The modal shows screens currently using the playlist. If those are the only destinations, continue directly to Publish.

Step 3: Add more screens when needed

Enable the option to add more screens, then select each additional destination. If the playlist has no screen yet, screen selection opens automatically.

Step 4: Create a screen when allowed

If required, choose Add new screen and enter a name. This option is available only when your package has unused screen capacity.

Step 5: Publish the playlist

Click Publish. SignMitra verifies playlist-to-screen mappings, updates player data and shows the success animation.

Step 6: Handle screens without devices

When a destination screen has no device, select an available device in the next step. Existing connected screens do not show this step.

Step 7: Verify scheduling and playback

Open the screen preview or player after publishing. If scheduled slides do not appear immediately, confirm their date, day, time and timezone settings.
