Quick Publish Media to Screens

Upload or select media, choose screens, set the layout and publish through one guided workflow.

Overview

Quick Publish is the fastest way to turn images, videos, presentations or PDF files into playable signage content and send it to one or more screens.

Before you publish

  • Confirm that your account has available media storage and screen capacity.
  • Use player-compatible images, videos, PDF or presentation files. SignMitra processes supported uploads for reliable playback.
  • Keep the target devices online when you want them to receive the update immediately. Offline-ready devices receive it when they reconnect.

What SignMitra creates or updates

  • Creates slides for the selected media and places them in a Quick Publish playlist.
  • Attaches the resulting playlist to every selected screen.
  • Updates player data and shows a publish progress confirmation.
  • Offers device assignment only when a selected or newly created screen has no connected device.
Important: Selecting an existing screen that already has a device will not ask you to pair that device again.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Open Quick Publish

Open Quick Publish from the user sidebar or the dashboard Quick Publish shortcut. The page keeps upload, screen and playback controls in one workflow.

Step 2: Add or select media

Drag files into Step 1, click the upload area, or choose existing items in Media Browser. The Media Browser supports search, media-type filters, sorting, preview and upload progress. Selected files appear in the publish list.

Step 3: Choose the destination screens

Select one or more existing screens. If no screen is selected and your package allows another screen, enable Add New Screen and optionally enter a screen name.

Step 4: Set orientation and duration

Choose Landscape 16:9 or Portrait 9:16. Set the image duration in seconds. Videos use their actual duration automatically.

Step 5: Review and publish

Click Publish. Keep the page open while upload and conversion progress is shown. SignMitra creates the required slides and playlist, assigns it to the chosen screens and refreshes player delivery.

Step 6: Connect a device only when required

If a selected screen has no device, choose an available device in the final step or open Device Manager. Screens that already have a device skip this step automatically.

Step 7: Confirm playback

After the success animation, open Screens or preview the player to confirm that the new playlist is assigned and playing.

Why did the device selection step not appear?
The selected screen already has a connected device. Quick Publish keeps that assignment and updates the playlist directly.
Yes. Select every required screen before publishing. The generated playlist is attached to all selected screens.
Images use the duration entered in Layout & Playback. Videos use their actual media duration automatically.
Yes. Select it from Media Browser instead of uploading the same file again.
Quick Publish can still use existing screens, but it cannot create another screen until capacity is available in your package.
